Telehealth can be an effective way to support ABA services by allowing BCBAs to provide ongoing clinical supervision, caregiver education, and parent and family training while a highly trained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides in-person support. This model allows the BCBA to observe sessions, provide real-time coaching and feedback, monitor progress, and collaborate with caregivers while maintaining consistent clinical oversight. Having a trained RBT present in person ensures that clients continue to receive hands-on, individualized support while families and clinicians benefit from accessible and flexible telehealth services.
